Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using crossguardadvisory.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Who operates this site
The Site is operated by Vincent Oriolo, an independently licensed life and health insurance broker doing business as CrossGuard Private Benefits Advisory ("CrossGuard"). CrossGuard is a trade name; all insurance business under the CrossGuard name is conducted on Vincent Oriolo's personal license. References to "I," "me," or "my" refer to Vincent Oriolo personally.
Nature of the service
CrossGuard is an independent insurance advisory. I help individuals and families compare and select life insurance, final expense insurance, fixed and fixed indexed annuities, health insurance, and supplementary insurance products. The Site is informational and is not an offer to sell, or a solicitation to buy, any specific insurance product in any state where I am not licensed.
I am not a tax advisor, attorney, or registered investment advisor. Information on the Site is general education and is not tax, legal, or investment advice. For advice about your specific situation, consult qualified tax, legal, or investment professionals.
Eligibility
The Site is intended for adults (18 years of age or older) located in the United States. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and located in the United States.
No advisor-client relationship from form submission
Submitting a form or sending a message through the Site does not, by itself, create an advisor-client relationship between you and Vincent Oriolo or CrossGuard. An advisory relationship begins only after a separate engagement is mutually agreed upon, in writing or in a recorded consultation, and after any required regulatory disclosures have been provided.
Information accuracy
I make reasonable efforts to keep information on the Site accurate and current. However, insurance products, carrier offerings, regulations, and tax treatment change over time. Information on the Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. No guarantee is made as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any information on the Site.
Specific insurance products and policy outcomes are determined by the issuing carrier under the policy contract. Insurance product guarantees are backed by the claims-paying ability of the issuing carrier — not by Vincent Oriolo or CrossGuard.

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
